1. Introduction

Welcome to Tapnex Meals ("Service", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our web application located at https://meals.tapnex.tech (the "Service"), operated by Tapnex Technologies, a subsidiary of Nexgen FC. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. User Accounts

2.1. Account Creation: To use the payment features of our Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account.

2.2. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our payment services.

2.3. Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms and Conditions or is harmful to other users of the Service, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

3. Meal Purchases and Service Usage

3.1. Service Description: The Service provides a platform for registered users ("Paid Users") to purchase individual meals ("Meal Ticket") from the designated campus food vendor (e.g., Sodexo). Upon successful payment, a unique, single-use Quick Response (QR) code is generated, which must be presented for scanning at the mess counter to redeem the meal.

3.2. Single Purchase Rule: A user may only hold one (1) active, unscanned Meal Ticket at a time. A new meal purchase cannot be initiated until the user's existing Meal Ticket has been successfully scanned and redeemed. This is to ensure a simple and error-free verification process at the counter.

3.3. Validity of Meal Tickets: Each Meal Ticket is valid only for the specific meal (e.g., "Lunch") and for the date on which it was purchased. The ticket can only be redeemed during the official operating hours of that specific meal, as determined by the campus administration. A Meal Ticket for "Lunch" cannot be redeemed during "Dinner" hours.

3.4. Non-Transferability: Meal Tickets are strictly non-transferable. The QR code is linked to the user account that purchased it and is intended for use by that individual only.

4. Payments

All payments for Meal Tickets are processed through our third-party payment gateway partner. We do not collect or store your sensitive financial information, such as credit card numbers or UPI IDs. By making a purchase, you agree to be bound by our payment gateway partner's terms of service and privacy policy.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Tapnex Technologies and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of India. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Tapnex Technologies.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Tapnex Technologies, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
